For the independent advisor who knows every client by name
Nexus Advisors began with a simple belief: small practices should match large-firm communication quality without hiring writers.
Why we made it
After years in financial services operations, we saw independent advisors devote 30 to 40 percent of each week to documentation and communications unrelated to investment decisions.
Writing, data assembly, quarterly updates, and market commentary emails were all demanding, repetitive tasks. They kept small practices from growing household counts beyond what one person could administer alone.
Our central insight was straightforward: the advisor keeps the voice and judgment, while a system trained on that voice handles writing and assembly. The advisor reads every draft and makes every decision. The blank page disappears.
Nexus was founded in Tokyo in 2024. We closed an angel round in 2025 with investors from financial services technology backgrounds. It is built for the advisor at a two or three person practice in Japan, not for enterprise rollout.

Marco Reinholt
Head of Advisor Success
After years as an independent financial advisor, moved into advisory technology. Brings the practitioner's view to onboarding, product feedback, and helping early-access advisors move from setup to their first batch of approved drafts.
The direction we're taking
Independent practices should grow their client base through investment skill, not writing capacity. We are building the communication layer so one advisor can serve three times as many households without giving up the personal relationship.
Advisor first
We ask of every design choice: does it improve the advisor's working week? If a feature adds process without cutting writing time, it does not ship.
The advisor keeps judgment
Nexus drafts; the advisor approves. We leave the professional relationship to the advisor, removing the blank page so their attention stays on what matters.
What we can honestly say
We are a small, early-stage team working closely with every practice we onboard. We do not promise a fully automated practice. We promise a meaningfully lighter writing week.
