Process

Portfolio data to a client-ready draft in under an hour

Three steps. No manual exports. No template edits.

Abstract view of a multi-step workflow for advisory teams
1

Connect a portfolio system

Nexus uses read-only API connections to major portfolio management platforms. Direct it to a client account or household group. Skip CSV exports and manual copy-paste. Positions, returns, and cash flows automatically refresh each morning, giving every draft current data.

2

Analyze and draft

Nexus reviews each household's positions, spots changes since the prior update, adds relevant market context, and writes in your trained voice. Each household receives a distinct draft based on its allocation, recent trades, and performance versus its benchmark, not a shared template with names inserted.

3

Review, edit, then send

Read the draft, edit as needed, and approve it. Most advisors in our program spend 10 to 20 minutes reviewing a batch before sending. Your edits refine your voice profile, so later drafts require less revision. A full audit trail records every generated, edited, and approved draft.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Nexus connects with major custodian platforms used by independent RIAs and advisory practices in Japan and internationally. During onboarding, we confirm the systems your practice uses and set up the read-only data connection. We are expanding supported systems in response to advisor feedback.

  • Voice training starts with one afternoon. Upload 20 or more past client communications, review a small sample of drafts, and edit them to fit your style. Nexus uses those edits to build your profile, which keeps improving with each batch of drafts you approve or edit.

  • Yes. The Practice plan supports up to three advisor accounts, each with its own voice profile. The Firm plan supports unlimited advisor accounts. Each advisor's drafts use that advisor's profile, so clients receive correspondence reflecting the advisor they work with, rather than a shared practice style.

  • Nexus keeps client portfolio data only as long as needed to generate drafts and maintain the audit log. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Client data is not used to train any shared model. Your practice can set the data retention period, and Japanese data residency is available. See our security page for full details.

  • The system records every generated, edited, and approved draft with a timestamp, originating portfolio data snapshot, and approving advisor identity. The log can be provided as a structured export for your compliance records. The Firm plan adds a dedicated audit log interface with filtering and export tools.
